This reproduction of Yayoi Kusama's work represents her exhibition 「草間彌生展 ワタシというナニモノかへの問い」 (Kusama Yayoi – Watashi to iu nanimono ka e no toi) and ran from 18 September to 7 November 2010 at the Musashino City Kichijoji Art Museum (吉祥寺美術館), in Tokyo.

The exhibition notably featured Kusama's collages and prints from the 1970s, drawn from the collections of the Matsumoto City Museum of Art, accompanied by texts by the artist. It sought in particular to explore childhood experiences, bodily sensations, and the origins of Kusama's artistic universe.
