Description from the seller

Adamá 2011 — Ribera del Duero

Description
Expressive Tempranillo combining ripe blackberry, cherry and cassis with cedar, vanilla and cocoa. A generous, velvety palate reveals dark fruit and spice, followed by a long, savoury finish. Produced by Proyectos Sanctvs from old vines near Quintana del Pidio, this vintage comes from vines over 60 years old. The bottle label records 25 months of barrel ageing and bottling in September 2014. Recommended for drinking now, assuming appropriate storage.

Standard 75 cl bottles with excellent labels and capsules. Shipped by tracked courier in protective wine packaging.

Awards and ratings
- Vivino: 4.4/5 — 2011 vintage.
- Gold Medal — Premios Zarcillo 2025.
- Silver Medal — Premios Zarcillo 2018.

Seller's Story

Bricopreneurs was founded on a simple belief: great wine starts with great selection. Since 2008, we have been sourcing and offering wines that stand out for their quality, character and value. Not because they come with the biggest names or the largest marketing budgets, but because what is inside the bottle genuinely deserves attention. Our roots are in Bordeaux, where over the years we have built a strong network of producers, merchants and independent estates. Personal relationships have always been central to the way we work. We always buy directly from producers and actively look for wines that are not widely available elsewhere. Every wine has to convince us first. We select on taste, origin, consistency and value for money. External ratings can be useful, but they are never the only criterion. In the end, the key question is simple: is this a wine we would happily drink ourselves, serve to friends and recommend to customers with confidence? That philosophy also means that our portfolio remains deliberately selective. We have no ambition to offer hundreds of nearly identical wines. We would rather build a focused collection in which every bottle has a clear reason to be there: an unexpectedly strong Bordeaux from a smaller château, a mature wine from an excellent vintage, or a lesser-known producer delivering outstanding quality. While Bordeaux remains an important part of our story, our search has gradually expanded. Today, we also explore other European wine regions, always with the same approach: finding distinctive wines from producers who care about what they make. What makes Bricopreneurs different is not simply access to wine. It is the combination of experience, direct sourcing, curiosity and careful selection. We do the searching, tasting and comparing so that our customers do not have to. For us, wine is never just another product. It is the result of a place, a producer, a vintage and a story. Our role is to find the bottles worth discovering and make them accessible to people who appreciate good wine.
