Fontanafredda Vigna La Villa Paiagallo 2021 Barolo from the MGA Paiagallo in Barolo, Nebbiolo, six 0.75 L bottles with a high fill level.
Description from the seller
Vigna La Villa 2021 is a prestigious Barolo from Fontanafredda, produced exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes from one of the winery's historic vineyards, located in the heart of the Paiagallo MGA, in the municipality of Barolo.
The Vigna La Villa vineyard covers about 3.19 hectares, with an east exposure and an altitude ranging from 320 to 370 meters above sea level. The soils are mainly silt, with clay and sand, characteristics that contribute to the elegance and richness of the wine.
Vinification takes place in wooden vats, followed by a long aging of 30 months in oak barrels and a further approximately 8 months in bottle, in a cool environment with controlled temperature.
In the glass it presents an intense, vivid, garnet red. On the nose elegant hints of red berries, blackberry and sour cherry emerge. On the palate it is rich and harmonious, characterized by sweet tannins, great elegance and remarkable persistence on the palate. A Barolo capable of expressing with finesse the character of the MGA Paiagallo.
Lot of 6 bottles, as shown in the photographs. Labels, capsules and fill levels as in the photo. Bottles carefully stored in the cellar. The photographs are an integral part of the lot description.
