Description

A colorful, expressive depiction of a peacock against a garden setting. The central part of the composition is occupied by a bird with intensely blue-green plumage and a distinctive, broad tail fanned in shades of red, orange, yellow, and pink.

The background consists of green leaves and foliage and a light gray balustrade, which contrast with the peacock's vivid colors. The visible texture of the paint and bold brushstrokes give the work a decorative and expressive character. The piece can serve as a striking element of decorating a living room, office, or other space.
