Antique German Garniture Set – 3-Piece Floral Vases, c. 1900, Turquoise Craquelé & Gilt Details
Beautiful and highly decorative antique three-piece ceramic garniture, probably of German manufacture, dating from approximately 1890–1910.
The set consists of two matching tall ewer-shaped vases and one central covered urn, all decorated in a harmonious turquoise, ivory and floral palette.
The pieces feature a beautiful turquoise craquelé glaze, delicate polychrome floral decoration with roses and other flowers, gilt details and highly ornamental scroll-shaped handles.
The elegant historicist design and elaborate floral decoration make this an impressive decorative set from the late 19th / early 20th century, suitable for collectors of antique European ceramics and decorative arts.
Set includes:
2 matching side vases – approx. 29 cm / 11.4 in high each
1 central covered urn – approx. 27 cm / 10.6 in high
Condition: Very good antique condition considering the age. The set is complete. One side vase has a small hairline/surface mark near the handle, visible in the photographs. The other two pieces have no visible damage. Minor age-related wear to the gilt decoration.
There are no visible maker's marks on the bases.
