Iconic actor of theatre and cinema, Armand Meffre acted under the direction of major filmmakers alongside Philippe Noiret, Jean Rochefort or Gérard Depardieu.

Trained in painting under the master André Lhote, he developed a sensitive, luminous and deeply human body of work. His canvases, imbued with tenderness and poetry, reveal a deeply humane gaze, between restrained emotion and sincere simplicity.
