Offered for auction is a Seiko Prospex SPB485J1, an elegant professional-specification automatic diver combining Seiko’s renowned Prospex functionality with a more refined and contemporary design.

The SPB485J1 immediately stands out for its unusual polygonal rotating bezel, finished in a warm bronze/copper tone that contrasts beautifully with the dark dial. Seiko describes the textured dial pattern as being inspired by gentle waves and coastal scenery. The polished and sculpted stainless-steel case gives the watch a more sophisticated appearance than a conventional tool watch, while retaining genuine diving specifications.

Inside is Seiko’s 6R55 automatic calibre, offering both automatic and manual winding and an impressive approximately 72-hour (three-day) power reserve. The movement has 24 jewels and a stop-seconds function.
