Gregory Masurovsky (1929-2009) was an American draftsman, engraver and illustrator.
Born in the Bronx, New York, he studied notably at the famous Black Mountain College.
In 1954, he settled permanently in Paris with his wife, artist Shirley Goldfarb.
There he developed a distinctive style, mainly centered on pen drawing and Chinese ink.
His poetic body of work sits at the crossroads of Abstract Expressionism and figuration.
