- The Taste of Winter - The Child and the Snowman - oil on canvas, signed bottom right, dated on the back and titled on the back.
Canvas dimensions: 40×50 cm.
Wrapped in his fur hat (chapka) and red scarf, a child tastes a cluster of frost-covered rowan berries under the gaze of his snowman. The brushwork is lively and generous, with impasto and the golden light of a winter afternoon. It is a tender scene, emblematic of Russian winter.
