Description from the seller
Spirou and Fantasio by Franquin – Complete Collection – 11 Volumes – Le Soir / Dupuis – 2013 SEALED IN A BOX
Magnificent complete collection of 11 volumes of Spirou and Fantasio by Franquin, published in 2013 by Le Soir in collaboration with Dupuis editions.
This is a collector’s edition in XL large format, particularly elegant, dedicated to the work of André Franquin, one of the great masters of Franco-Belgian comics.
The set presented includes all 11 volumes of the collection, all numbered from 1 to 11.
A complete and homogeneous collection
This intégrale brings together the adventures of Spirou and Fantasio created by Franquin, from the early grand adventures to the latest stories of this period.
The collection is distinguished by its XL format of about 24 × 32 cm, its hard covers and especially its light cloth spines, whose illustration continues from one volume to the next.
When the 11 volumes are placed side by side in order, the spines form a single continuous illustration depicting Spirou in motion, a particularly decorative and sought-after element of this edition.
Each volume is also enriched with a complementary documentary notebook devoted to Franquin, to the creation of the characters, to the genesis of the adventures and to various documents and photographs related to his work.
