MEDSAN - Back to the Future DeLorean (バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャーのデロリアン) - UNIQUE WORK

ONLY ONE IN THE WORLD EXISTS - EDITION 1/1

In this square format, Medsan stages the DeLorean DMC-12 from Back to the Future, stopped three-quarters facing the viewer, its two gull-wing doors raised toward the sky. The headlights are on, the orange lights marked at the corners, and the DMC emblem reads at the center of the grille.
Behind it, a nocturnal city reduced to the silhouettes of its towers closes the horizon, under a blue and purple vault crossed by two white zigzagging bolts. On the ground, two long trails of orange and yellow fire follow the car’s trajectory and rise up to the bottom edge of the frame. All around runs a broad golden border, in swirls and flowers, with a golden bolt planted in each of the two upper corners and a rosette at the center of the lower edge. At the bottom right, the cartouche メドサン. The scene captures the moment immediately after departure.

A piece in deep midnight blue and warm golds, ideal for adding a pop and spectacular touch to a collector’s interior devoted to cinema icons.

About Medsan / Popsan:
Medsan and Popsan are two signatures of the same artist. Under the name Medsan, he explores the world of medicine and anatomy; under the name Popsan, he revisits pop culture icons by blending pop art, Japanese art, and anachronisms. On Catawiki, his pop works still appear under the name Medsan, but they belong to the Popsan universe. He creates at the Atelier Joconde, a family artist workshop, alongside artists Le Yack (figurative painting) and Neo Pablo (abstraction).
