A Place Beside You
Two figures tilt their faces toward a shared space. The half-closed eyes and the continuity of the curves linking their bodies suggest a relaxed closeness, made of small gestures. In the foreground, a yellow bottle places the encounter in an everyday setting.
Eve Lezcano builds the relationship between the characters through forms that approach each other, overlap, and settle into one another. Deep blues and turquoises envelop the scene, pierced by luminous yellows and pink accents. The spiral between the faces concentrates the movement, while the stripes and brush marks add variety to the surface.
The title finds its counterpart in that way of sharing space. The composition allows reading companionship as a gesture of welcome: each figure retains its expression and, at the same time, seems to find its place next to the other.

Seller's Story
I am a contemporary artist based in Madrid, Spain. My work explores the relevance of Cubism from a contemporary perspective, building a visual language of its own where form, color, and composition dialogue to create scenes filled with balance, symbolism, and emotion.
Each work is an original and exclusive creation, conceived as a unique piece that reflects ongoing research into the figure, space, and expression. My aim is to create paintings that not only capture the eye but also establish a lasting connection with those who view them.
All works are signed and come with their corresponding Certificate of Authenticity, guaranteeing their originality and provenance.
My paintings are part of private collections in different countries and are intended for collectors who value authenticity, quality, and the singular character of a contemporary artwork.
