Rare antique item and old issue no. 2 of Journal de Spirou, published in 1938 by Dupuis, Charleroi. This historical collection gathers numbers 20 to 37 from the very first year of publication of the journal, with its magnificent cover illustrated by Rob-Vel, creator of Spirou.
Very beautiful collectible specimen for its era, preserving its original cover, its color illustrations still well preserved and its cloth-backed spine. The whole presents a nice overall condition and bears witness to the very early years of Franco-Belgian comics.
