Charming old French painting, oil on canvas, signed and dated 1952, depicting a château or an elegant old manor surrounded by greenery.
The composition offers a very beautiful atmosphere: architecture with towers and facades bathed in light, a flowered garden in the foreground and a luminous sky. The brushstrokes are generous and visible, giving a lot of relief and character to the work.
The palette, dominated by greens, ochre tones, beige and blue-gray, creates a soft and particularly decorative ambiance.
Original and unique work, handmade.
The artist's signature as well as the date 1952 are visible in the lower right corner.
The painting is presented in its antique wooden frame, which has a lovely patina corresponding to its age and fully contributes to the charm of the overall piece.
