Omega Vintage Caliber 30T2 (Year 1947/1948) - Manual Winding
Watch with the famous in-house movement Caliber 30T2 manual-winding.
The 30T2 is regarded by collectors as one of the finest manual movements ever made for robustness and chronometric precision, famous for laying the groundwork for the subsequent 260/265 series.
From the movement serial number (11,338,018), production dates precisely to the two-year period 1947–1948,
• Movement: In-house Omega Caliber 30T2 (original stamping present under the balance wheel)
• Reference: 2540-1
• Case: 33 mm without crown
• Year of production: circa 1947–1948
• Winding type: Manual
• Complications: Small seconds at 6
• Jewels: 15 jewels
