Description from the seller

Lot Description:
Extraordinary and iconic garden bar cart / outdoor dining trolley, model "Simo", manufactured in Italy during the late 1970s / early 1980s for the renowned brand Grand Soleil. A perfect and rare example of Italian pop industrial design and Italian modernism dedicated to upscale outdoor furniture, terraces or Space Age interiors.

The trolley is entirely made of high-resistance rigid technopolymer (polypropylene) in optical white, injection-molded. On the bottom of the structure is the original embossed trademark that guarantees authenticity: "For Aliments - Patented - Made in Italy by Simo for Grand Soleil".

Technical Features & Design Details:
- Folding & Detachable Engineering: Features a clever compass folding system that allows the trolley to collapse completely onto itself in seconds to take up very little space. Furthermore, the trolley is designed to be easily dismantled into every component, facilitating deep cleaning or long-range transport.
- Dual Functional Shelves: Equipped with two large service trays. The upper tray integrates a comfortable molded section with two deep cylindrical bottle/cup holders, ideal for serving outdoors with total stability.
- Mobility: Fitted with a solid full-width ergonomic push handle and two large decorative spoke rear wheels, typical of the retro style of the period.

Condition Report (Mint Showcase Condition):
The item presents itself in superb, pristine condition, literally impeccable for a vintage piece of this era. The plastic is completely sound, free of cracks, breaks or missing parts. Very importantly: the surface shows no scratches or signs of wear, and the white color remains bright and perfect, absolutely not yellowed by time or sun. The closing mechanism slides smoothly and the wheels turn correctly and without glitches. Item washed, sanitized, and ready for use.

Shipping and Packaging:
To guarantee maximum safety of the components during transport and prevent any type of damage, the cart will be shipped completely disassembled. Packaging will be carried out with extreme care, protecting every single element with abundant layers of bubble wrap inside a rigid corrugated cardboard box reinforced. Reassembly is extremely simple, fast and intuitive, does not require special tools and can be easily reassembled in a few minutes. Tracked and fast shipping via international express courier.
