Juan Pablo Salinas, Rome 1900 – Festive scene, oil on panel, 16 × 11 cm. Small and refined period painting depicting a gallant scene by the water, with elegant figures, a richly decorated pavilion, garlands and floral wreaths. The painting is characterized by a loose and luminous brushwork and by a delicate palette of ochre, pink, blues and greens. A work of great collectible charm, preserved with the natural patina of time. Bearing a handwritten note on the back apparently ‘P. Salinas’.
