Three volumes in English of Sir Nathaniel William Wraxall’s Posthumous Memoirs of His Own Time, a 1836 reedition in demi red morocco bindings, in good condition with about 1200 pages, measuring 23 x 14.5 cm.

3 volumes in-8 (230x145 mm), red half-leather with corners, ornately gilt spine, gilt top (bindings of the period). Slight signs of wear on the joints and hinges. Some foxing, but overall the set is predominantly free of it.
Second edition of the Posthumous Memoirs of Sir Nathaniel William Wraxall; copies well complete with the 6 engravings (including 3 frontispieces) – Complete in 3 volumes
Wraxall revisits the events and political figures he knew during his career and travels, particularly in the context of British political life under George III and during the Regency. The narrative places significant emphasis on parliamentary circles and the political and literary personalities of his time
