Three-piece vintage Italian ice bucket set in crystal and metal, dating to the 1960s–1980s, featuring hand-cut clear crystal, a silver-plated metal mounting and adjustable handle, plus a perforated ice-plate and original tongs, all in good vintage condition with minor patina and signs of age.
Description from the seller
Elegant vintage ice bucket from the era (c. 1950s-1970s), complete with tongs and an internal ice-drain plate lime.
The item is made of finely hand-cut and faceted clear crystal with geometric motifs and star/fan decorations. It features a refined upper mount and a swiveling handle in silver-plated metal enriched by a beaded finish.
The lot consists of 3 pieces:
- Faceted crystal bucket with a silver-plated edge and handle.
- Perforated ice-drain plate to separate ice cubes from meltwater.
- Original metal spring-loaded tongs for serving the cubes.
The item is in overall good vintage condition. The crystal is intact, with no cracks or chips. The metal parts and the internal plate show a natural patina of age with light signs of oxidation and wear to the silvering, consistent with the object’s era.
