Art Box / Bonbonnière in porcelain by Couleuvre – Floral decor & gilding – Art edition
Refined oval-shaped box with a finely chiseled gilt metal mount, made by the famous French manufacturer Porcelaine de Couleuvre.
Stamp under the base: “Édition d'Art à Tirage Réservé sur Porcelaine de Couleuvre France”.
Decoration: Celestial blue porcelain enhanced with fire gilding (foliate motifs).
The lid features a richly detailed floral bouquet with slightly raised enamels.
The interior is also decorated with small floral motifs.
Clasp: Chiseled mount with a clasp worked in the shape of a flower.
Condition: Very good overall. Shows a light wear patina on the gilding and under the base, indicating its authenticity. Hinge and clasp in perfect working order.
