Louis Aimé Japy (1840-1916) was a French landscape painter of the Barbizon School, student of Camille Corot and François-Louis Français. He debuted at the Paris Salon in 1864 and exhibited there until World War I; his works are now in several museums (Orsay, Langres, Roanne, among others).
