Description:
A unique and indispensable opportunity for lovers of the ninth art and classic European comics! A luxury lot dedicated to the legendary Spanish cartoonist Jordi Bernet, internationally acclaimed for his supreme mastery of black and white, the noir genre, and his iconic female figures (creator of Torpedo 1936 and Clara de noche) is up for auction.
The lot features TWO ORIGINAL HAND SIGNS by the master Bernet and consists of:
1. Exclusive Print of “Paul Foran” (HAND-SIGNED): A spectacular full-color art print, high-quality printed on textured paper by the German publisher All Verlag (Spezial) with 2025 copyright. It pays homage to the classic Franco-Belgian series Paul Foran (created by José Larraz under the pseudonym Gil) in which Bernet participated. This piece is hand-signed with a marker by Jordi Bernet himself at the margin.
2. Sketchbook 2022 Catalog + Extra Print (HAND-SIGNED):
A fantastic official artist’s sketchbook/notebook that exquisitely gathers his best line drawings (pin-up women, police scenes, and tributes to greats like Will Eisner/The Spirit).
This notebook is accompanied by a spectacular extra print that is also hand-signed by Jordi Bernet in the bottom-left corner.
Condition:
Both pieces and their supplements are in impeccable condition (MINT / Near Mint), coming directly from a private archive.
Packaging and Safe Shipping:
The lot will be packed completely flat. It will be interleaved protected between two thick, high-density rigid cardboard boards to prevent any twisting, crushing, or bending of the corners during international transit. The shipment will include a tracking number.
