Zenith - Stellina - Men - 1970-1979

Very handsome vintage Zenith Automatic men's watch from the 1960s, housed in a solid 18-karat yellow gold case.
The watch features an elegant champagne-colored dial with the characteristic crosshair layout.
The applied gold-colored hour markers with dark accents and the refined hands give the watch the typical high-quality look of Zenith from that period.
A particularly attractive detail is the date display at 6 o'clock, symmetrically placed on the dial and framed by a gold-colored border.
On the inside of the case back, the original markings ZENITH – SWISS MADE – 18K – 0.750 and the gold hallmark are clearly visible.
This confirms that it is a solid 18-karat gold Zenith case and not gold-plated.
The automatic in-house movement has also been photographed. The rotor is signed ZENITH – 25 JEWELS – SWISS MADE.
The calibre 2542 PC has 25 jewels and was produced in the period 1964–1969.
The watch is in a beautiful authentic vintage condition. The dial shows a light natural patina, appropriate for a watch of about sixty years. The case and case back also show signs of wear and minor scratches. These have not been refinished and are clearly visible in the photos.
The combination of the solid 18-karat gold case, the automatic Zenith in-house movement, the crosshair dial, and the date at 6 o'clock makes this a particularly attractive Zenith for the collector of classic Swiss watches.
