The Wabar Craters were discovered in 1932 in the desert of Saudi Arabia. The largest crater has a diameter of 100 m, a depth of 12 m, partially filled with sand, and it is thought to be the main crater where the impact occurred with ejected material from the surface. A crater located 1 km to the northwest is about half the size of the main crater, and it is thought that they are two partially overlapping craters. Two others in the area are completely filled with sand. Fused silica glass and tiny nickel-iron globules were found near the main crater.

The meteorite is a highly oxidized metallic IIIAB that gives it a pinecone-like appearance, weighing 7.232 grams and measuring 28x16x7 mm. They are now extremely rare and impossible to find with dimensions larger than 5 cm.

I Crateri Wabar, sono stati scoperti nel 1932 nel deserto di in Arabia Saudita. Il cratere più grande ha un diametro di 100 m, una profondità di 12 m, parzialmente riempito di sabbia e si pensa che sia il cratere principale dove è avvenuto l’impatto con l'espulsione di materiale dalla superficie del terreno. Un cratere situato a 1 km a nord-ovest è circa la metà delle dimensioni del cratere principale e si pensa che siano due crateri parzialmente sovrapposti. Altri due nella zona sono completamente riempiti di sabbia. Vetro siliceo fuso e minuscoli globuli di nichel-ferro sono stati trovati vicino al cratere principale.

La meteorite è una metallica IIIAB molto ossidata che gli conferisce un aspetto simile ad una pigna, dal peso di 7,232 grammi e misura 28x16x7 mm. Ormai rarissime sono impossibili da trovare con dimensioni al di sopra dei 5 cm.
