Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in the Saarland region.
My passion for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even then I was fascinated by colors, shapes, and the possibility of giving my ideas a distinct expression. This passion remains the foundation of my work to this day.
I was especially influenced by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. It was with him that I learned to paint. His instinct for color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance to my development. As his pupil I had the opportunity to benefit from knowledge and a passion that accompany me to this day.
I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special chance for me. On this basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting.
Since 2015 I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the squeegee technique: the interaction of color layers, the resulting structures, and the surprising forms that give each painting its own character. In doing so, learned craft meets intuition and the joy of experimentation.
My paintings are meant to animate spaces, evoke emotions, and give viewers lasting pleasure. Each work leaves room for one's own thoughts and discoveries. It is this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for everyone and reveal new sides again and again over time.
With each canvas I continue to develop my work — carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something of my own.
The canvas is unstretched and is carefully rolled in a shipping tube. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
