Description from the seller
My name is Cyril Keller. I was born on September 12, 1978 in Saarland.
My enthusiasm for art began in the early 1990s with graffiti. Even then I was captivated by colors, forms, and the possibility of giving my ideas a distinct expression. This passion continues to form the foundation of my work to this day.
I was particularly shaped by my teacher and mentor, the artist Parscha Mirghawameddin. It was with him that I learned to paint. His sense for color, his eye for composition, and his artistic experience were of great importance to my development. As his student, I could benefit from knowledge and a passion that accompany me to this day.
I am very grateful to Parscha for sharing his experiences with me and for supporting me on my artistic path. Learning from him was a special opportunity for me. On that basis I developed my own visual language and found my personal approach to painting.
Since 2015 I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to abstract art. I am especially fascinated by the palette knife technique: the interaction of color layers, the textures that emerge, and the surprising shapes that give each image its own character. In this process, learned craft meets intuition and the joy of experimentation.
My paintings are meant to enliven spaces, evoke emotions, and give viewers lasting pleasure. Each work leaves room for one's own thoughts and discoveries. It is precisely this openness that makes abstract painting so special to me: a painting can mean something different for every person and reveal new sides over time.
With every canvas I continue to develop my work—carried by my artistic roots, the valuable impulses of my teacher, and the desire to create something of my own.
The canvas is unstretched and carefully rolled in a shipping tube. An authenticity certificate is included in the delivery.
