Statue, Leopardo - 69 cm - Ceramic

This sculpture depicts a leopard in glazed ceramic, typical of the Italian artisanal tradition for vintage / Hollywood Regency style home decor accessories.

​Subject and Pose: The animal is depicted in a dynamic and stealthy feline pose, crouched as if advancing with a stealthy step to hunt or ready to pounce. The head is turned to the side with the jaws open in a threatening roar, highlighting the teeth and finely molded fangs.
​Material and Finish: Made of glossy hand-painted ceramic. The glossy enamel finish reflects light, enhancing the muscle definition of the feline.
​Colors and Details: The coat features shades ranging from ochre yellow to orange-brown on the back, with the typical pattern of black and dark spots distributed across the body. The eyes, nose and inner mouth details (tongue and pink gums) are neatly finished with meticulous care.
