Kaws (1974) - ASTRO BOY (KAWS version) Grey

For sale one of the most iconic, rare and coveted pieces of contemporary Urban Art: the KAWS Astro Boy (Grey Edition) from 2012.

Born from the official collaboration between KAWS (Brian Donnelly), Tezuka Productions and Medicom Toy, this sculpture reinterprets the legendary Osamu Tezuka character (Mighty Atom / Astro Boy), incorporating the artist’s renowned stylistic cues: eyes with the distinctive crossed “X”s, customized gloves, and the skeletal structures at the sides of the head.

The Grey (Monochrome) version is considered among collectors to be the most elegant and sought-after variant of the entire series, capable of highlighting the sculpture’s three-dimensionality.
