A richly illustrated bibliophilic edition illuminated by Lucy Boucher, presenting numerous polychrome compositions, decorations inspired by ancient manuscripts, initials, ornamental borders and significant gold highlights.
The set is accompanied by a large original watercolor by Lucy Boucher, hand-made on a separate sheet of 56 × 36.9 cm. This polychrome composition, inspired by the world of fairy tales and medieval stained glass, bears the handwritten signature “L. Boucher” in red, at the bottom right. It is stored with its protective paper.
The work also includes two large plates measuring 27.8 × 39.9 cm each. These feature a plate impression (cup mark) clearly visible on the reverse side, up to the edges of the print, with rounded corners characteristic of press-work. The plates are protected by interleaving sheets.
Thick bibliophile paper, with untrimmed edges. Very high printing quality, colors particularly luminous and numerous gold details.
