[5 Volumi] - La Sacra Bibbia – Testo Bilingue Latino-Italiano
 - 1992-2015

The Holy Bible – Bilingual Latin-Italian Text
Libreria Editrice Vaticana, Vatican City, 2015

Elegant and imposing full-leather brown volume, titles and papal coat of arms stamped in gold on the cover and spine, three silk bookmarks.
Official bilingual edition with parallel texts:
• Latin: Nova Vulgata Bibliorum Sacrorum, Editio typica altera 1998, promulgated by John Paul II
• Italian: translation of the Italian Episcopal Conference, third edition 2008, edited by Fortunato Frezza

Contains the entire Catholic canon (Old and New Testament) with footnotes. The two-column layout, the quality of the paper, and the fine binding make it a particularly cared-for and dignified specimen.

This is the Vatican’s official bilingual edition, an indispensable reference tool for the study of Sacred Scripture, for philological comparison between the Church’s normative Latin version and the CEI Italian translation, and for liturgical and pastoral use. A volume of great prestige, destined for ecclesiastical libraries, scholars, and collectors of Vatican editions.

As a supplement (complementary lot):
• The Bible, San Paolo Editions (pocket edition)
• The Gospel in Action by Agostino Ughi (1992)
• “Pray, Pray, Pray!” (Editrice MIR)
• The Little Flowers of Pope Roncalli by Salvatore Conti (Grafital Editions), with drawings by Giancarlo Bonardi

In good overall condition; solid binding, clean interiors, minimal signs of use.
