This necklace is an elegant 20th-century 14-carat (585/1000) yellow gold collar, crafted by the Frisian goldsmith master P. Walsweer, who worked in Sneek from 1963 to 1992.
The necklace consists of gracefully shaped, carved links, each set with a beautifully faceted garnet. The warm gold color forms a striking contrast with the deep red gemstones, which vary from ruby red to dark burgundy depending on the light.
In the center lies a larger garnet, creating a natural focal point that gives the necklace a chic and balanced appearance.
With a length of 42 cm, the necklace sits elegantly around the neck. Thanks to its substantial weight of 27.13 grams, it also feels particularly solid and luxurious.
