Description from the seller
Studio Delu. (1976) – Mechanical Legends Collection – Michel Vaillant – “La Seconde Leader”
Shadow Frame 27 × 27 cm – Mixed media – Signed work
With its Mechanical Legends collection, Studio Delu gives depth to vehicles and iconic scenes from the comic strip.
This creation features a real page from the Rush album in the Michel Vaillant universe. A sequence of racing and confrontation occupies the background of the frame; in the foreground, a red miniature car bearing number 13 and several figurines extend the scene beyond the page.
The comic becomes the setting. The car and the characters step out from it. The action comes to life.
Each Studio Delu creation is handmade. The choice of the page, of the miniatures and their arrangement makes this composition unique.
