Who is Pope?
Pope, co-founder of the AMA collective, develops a singular artistic universe driven by a practice of visual arts since childhood, a high standard of detail, and meticulous visual research.
Through sculptures, paintings, and installations, he draws inspiration from photography, urban landscapes, and everyday scenes, with a sensitive and wonder-filled gaze, attentive to both simplicity and the complexity of the surrounding world.
Pope largely draws inspiration from the world around him but also from currents of renowned artists such as Banksy, Keith Haring, Koons, Orlinski, Takashi, Fred Allart, Shepard Fairey, Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Richard Hamilton, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Alec Monopoly, KAWS, Pantone, Mr. Brainwash, Blek le Rat, to name a few.
Whether it’s a gift, a keepsake, or your personal collection of contemporary art, you’ll easily find a favorite among our works, thanks to Pope’s diverse creations. Indeed, Pope pursues his urban art passion through street art (streetart) and pop art (popart) (limited or not), addressing a wide range of themes such as cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Ethereum), the dollar, money, gold, wealth, the sex industry, drug abuse, luxury and haute couture brands, the world of comics and video games, the pharmaceutical industry and medicines, recycling and upcycling, agro-food and fashion products (sport, sneakers...).
Brands guide our choices and often our lives without us realizing it. Aware of this impact, Pope enjoys playfully bending labels such as Louis Vuitton (LV), Chanel, Dior Hermès, Prada, Gucci, Rolex, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), Supreme, Obey, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG, Mercedes, Nike (Air Jordan), Adidas (Stan Smith), Coca Cola, Pepsi, Marvel and Avengers (Batman, Joker, Superman...), Disney (Mickey, Scrooge McDuck...), Nintendo, Sega, Tintin, Lego, Pokemon, Vans and many more.
Dear bidders, our collective strives to ensure that all information necessary to evaluate the lot sold is clearly detailed in the listing: dimensions, weight, description, and photos... After the sale, no unjustified claims will be considered. Thank you for your understanding.
