Jennifer - Conga drum - Brazil - 1991

There are two congas with stands. Brazilian conga made of solid wooden staves. Each conga weighs 10 kg and has the same height of 75 cm and a diameter of 35 cm. The Jennifer congas are documented as professional instruments that have been used, among others, by percussionists Laudir de Oliveira and Larry Fratangelo.
The congas consist of individual solid-wood staves. The combination of:
- the red-to-dark brown color;
- the clear alternation between lighter and darker staves;
- the fairly fine, straight grain
