Extraordinary vintage ashtray made of onyx & brass – 1950s era

Very exceptional and decorative vintage piece from the 1950s – not an ordinary ashtray!

The ashtray is made of beautifully figured genuine onyx and brass and features a particularly fancy design: two-tier structure, a small boy with a bow as a decorative element, and unusual feet in the shape of fish.

This unusually combined design makes the piece a real eye-catcher and a special collector's item.

The onyx is in a very nice condition and has a wonderful natural grain. Only a small chip is present, which is hardly noticeable.

The brass shows age-appropriate patina and at some spots light signs of wear/aging. These traces belong to the age of the piece and emphasize its authentic character.

Overall condition: approx. 8/10, considering its age.
