Vova Titov is an Estonian born artist with a degree in interior design from the prestigious Herzen University in St. Petersburg. His paintings, sculptures and drawings are all one of a kind, hand-crafted and have been sold internationally, with some making their way into the homes of Hollywood directors. His art is represented by the Saatchi Gallery, with regular auctions on Catawiki.
"North Wind" This work stands out within the series due to its technique: it marks a transition from pure painting to *papier collé fragments of old Polish magazines and newspapers (*Sztuka*, *Notatki*) are pasted onto the canvas. This directly alludes to the synthetic Cubism of Picasso and Braque from 1912–1913, a period when newspaper clippings first entered the language of painting as an equal, "authentic" fragment of reality. The work is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
