Angiolo Volpe (1943-2020) - Baracca a sole

Beautiful representation of a rural subject, signed on the front by Volpe (and on the back by Angiolo Volpe).

The painting (oil on plywood) depicts a rural landscape (among the subjects most depicted by the artist are indeed the countryside of Tuscany).

The painting depicts a wooden shack immersed in a countryside landscape with dark, muddy tones, under a leaden sky, flanked by electric or telegraph poles.

Volpe was an important exponent of the Labronica school.
