Description from the seller
The first image is AI-enhanced to better showcase the design against a neutral background. Please rely only on the following original photos for the item’s true condition.
glass blue-navy translucent cake service with a pansy motif - plain on the top - the pansies are hollow on the back in iridescent glass - the very clean lines remind us of the Art Deco period - no manufacturer mark, certainly from Lorraine given the very meticulous work on the flowers.
1 central flower - surrounded by a band of small pansies.
1 large round flat cake plate - diameter 34 cm - rim 2.5 cm - frieze of pansies 9 cm wide - center 11 cm in diameter - central pansy 7 cm in diameter - plate depth 1.5 cm.
12 dessert or entremet plates - diameter 18 cm - rim 1 cm - width of the pansy frieze 4 cm - center 7.5 cm in diameter for a central pansy of 5 cm in diameter.
slight chips on the back - not visible.
