Dutch military pocket book from 1916 for the Landweer-Vesting-Artillerie in Rotterdam, issued to Bastiaan Hagoort, made of paper, in good condition, original/official, without a certificate of authenticity.

Dutch Military Lifesaving Pocket Book 1916 – Fortress Artillery Rotterdam – with original mobilization documents
Original Dutch military pocket book from 1916, in the name of Bastiaan Hagoort, belonging to the Landweer-Fortress-Artillery.
The pocket book was issued in the Landweer district Rotterdam III and lists the 2nd Company Landweer-Fortress-Artillery. On the front it reads “Landweer Lighting 1916” with control number 1004.
A particularly well-preserved, complete personal military document with various handwritten service data, stamps and accompanying original documents.
Among others present:
- original service record and personal military data;
- handwritten notes regarding leave and duty;
- stamp concerning major leave as of 1 October 1919;
- original unfoldable “Call-up with Urgency – Mandate”;
- travel instructions and signatures;
- original pink transport vouchers for the State of the Netherlands from the Department of War, still in the pocket book;
municipal stamp.
A beautiful and authentic time document from the period of Dutch mobilization during and shortly after the First World War. Especially the combination of the person-specific pocket book with the still-present call-up and transport documents makes this an attractive collectible for enthusiasts of Dutch military history and WWI/mobilization.
