Without the 5th volume consisting of the music of Béranger's songs, corners and headpieces worn, stains on the flyleaves and endpapers, usual 19th-century browning. Good overall condition.
Unique edition edited by the author, adorned with 104 engravings in copperplate etching drawn by the most famous painters. Packed with a 4-page letter from the author in facsimile.
