Elaborately crafted Italian art ceramic from the traditional Florentine manufactory Ceramiche d’Arte Batignani.
The large, bulbous vase is fully hand-painted with a detailed, colorful floral decoration. It features various flowers, including pansies, as well as lush foliage on a white ground. The rim, the foot, and other decorative areas are finished in gold.
On the front there is the handwritten signature “A. Batignani”.
The underside bears the Batignani factory mark as well as the handwritten designation “Decorato a mano – n. 1/100”.
The object also includes an original framed certificate signed by Alberto Batignani. It confirms that the object was entirely handmade and hand-decorated.
