Dateable approximately to 1996 / mid-1990s, the poster is particularly interesting for its deliberate choice to recover the graphic language of the great European tourism posters from the 1920s-1940s.

So it is not a later reproduction of an ancient poster, but an authentic period advertisement for Curhotel Termas Marinas, created by consciously adopting a retro Art Deco-inspired style.

The composition depicts an elegant female figure in a red swimsuit looking out over the Mediterranean, surrounded by vegetation and set within a decorative geometric frame. The image immediately evokes the golden era of Mediterranean travel graphic design, while advertising the contemporary thalassotherapy center in Benicàssim.

Particularly interesting for dating purposes is the print address at the bottom:

The numbers correspond to the Spanish telephone system prior to the 1998 reform, when the national prefix “9” and the provincial code “64” of Castellón were still shown separately. After the 1998 reform the same contact details became 964 300 250.
