Marcel Vicaire (1893-1976) was a French painter, sculptor and illustrator, born in Paris.

Settled in Morocco from 1923, he became the inspector of Moroccan arts and crafts and curator of the Batha Museum in Fez.

He devoted a large part of his life to preserving and promoting Moroccan craftsmanship and heritage, while continuing his artistic work.
