Two brass pocket compasses dating from 1920–1950, made in France by anciennes instruments de navigation, maritime, with dimensions 5 cm high, 3 cm wide and 3 cm deep, in good condition with some wear and age-related patina and one with a visible crack in its glass.
Description from the seller
Old lot of two pocket compasses, probably from the first half of the 20th century, around 1920–1950. The first has a brass case with a suspension ring and the second a metal case with a knurled edge bearing the inscription “Made in France.” Dials graduated up to 360° with cardinal points and magnetized needles. The glass of the brass compass shows a visible crack. The set also bears patina, signs of use, and oxidation related to its age.
