Blue aquamarine glass vase, model 11985, designed by Václav Hanuš for Sklo Union and produced at Rudolfova Huť in Czechoslovakia in the late 1950s, with gold front print reading PRAHA, in unused mint condition and measuring 10 cm wide by 20 cm high by 18.5 cm deep.

Stunning vase designed by Václav Hanuš for the Czechoslovak glassworks group Sklo Union (produced specifically at the Rudolfova Huť glassworks). Company / Designer: Sklo Union (designed by Václav Hanuš). Year of creation of the pattern: 1958 (pattern with serial number 11985, produced at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s). The vase is made of pressed glass in the characteristic blue shade (often described as aquamarine or kingfisher blue). The gold imprint visible on the front depicting a historic gate and the inscription “PRAHA” (Prague) indicates that this particular piece was embellished as a souvenir of the Czech capital.
