AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Beyond the Quiet is about the sense of calm that comes when we allow ourselves to stop and simply look outward. The expansive blue sky and turquoise water create a feeling of openness, while the energetic foreground represents life continuing around us.

Luca Domiro is a South African born with Italian heritage contemporary artist whose work explores themes of renewal, movement, memory, and emotional connection through expressive abstraction and nature-inspired compositions. Drawing inspiration from wildlife, landscapes, coastlines, and atmospheric moments experienced through travel, his work captures the sensation of freedom, stillness, and emotional openness found in natural environments.
His practice is rooted in abstraction and guided by colour, texture, and gesture, creating immersive visual fields that invite reflection and personal interpretation. Collectors are drawn to the emotional energy and sense of place within his work, which has been acquired internationally across the United Kingdom, Europe, the United States, and Canada.
Working primarily with acrylics and print-based editions, his work balances expressive mark-making with tonal harmony, often evoking memory, movement, and the quiet intensity of nature.

Seller's Story
Luca Domiro (b. 1979) is a contemporary artist whose practice spans abstract expressionism, figurative painting, and wildlife-inspired works. Through expressive colour, layered textures, and intuitive mark-making, his paintings explore themes of joy, memory, movement, and human connection. Moving effortlessly between energetic abstraction and richly detailed figurative compositions, Domiro has developed a distinctive visual language that balances spontaneity with technical refinement.
Drawing inspiration from nature, travel, music, and everyday experiences, his work seeks to evoke emotion rather than simply depict a scene. Bold colour palettes, dynamic brushwork, and atmospheric layers combine to create paintings that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the beauty found in life's fleeting moments.
Domiro has exhibited throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, and internationally. His work has been featured in ELLE Decoration and House & Home magazines and is held in private collections across the UK, Europe, Canada, and the United States.
