Dimensions of the painting: 27 cm high by 40 cm wide
Bruynseraede studied drawing, decorative arts, applied architectural craft and architecture at the Academy of Ghent (KASK) and was for many years deputy conservator of the Museum of Decorative Arts (today Design Museum Ghent).
Bruynseraede was appointed in 1933 as a lecturer in applied arts at KASK and from 1970 to 1974 served as director of the Municipal Higher Institute for Architecture and Urban Planning (SHIAS).
The Bruynseraede-de Witte Public Benefit Foundation awards annual prizes to graduating students of graphic design and interior design.
