Statue, Bimbo con Cuffia - 35 cm - Bronze, Marble

Bronze head of a child, characterized by refined modeling and a remarkable attention to the rendering of facial features. The work presents stylistic characteristics that can be particularly clearly traced to the production of the sculptor Balestrieri.

The specimen, lacking any visible signature, exhibits technical and casting features compatible with a plausible casting/study proof, rather than with an specimen intended for commercialization. Therefore, the absence of a signature could be attributable to the nature of the specimen itself.

Work proposed as an attribution to Balestrieri, in consideration of the style, the quality of the modeling, and the detectable technical characteristics.
The base is marble.
