Artist information:
Originating from Southern Finistère, Frédéric CADIOU draws from Breton landscapes an inspiration deeply anchored in light and the horizon. His works capture suspended moments where nature dialogues with human perception. Cast shadows, elongated lines, minimalist compositions: each painting reveals a subtle tension between depth and minimalism. Through a controlled palette and pronounced contrasts, the artist creates calm, almost meditative atmospheres. The gaze is guided toward the horizon, between silence, space and contemplation. A painting where light structures the landscape and where shadow becomes language.
His current Akoun appraisal, reevaluated in 2026, is €1350 for a 15P format (65x50cm).
In June 2026, he is selected to represent Artmajeur at the Vivatech 2026 fair, the largest European innovation fair, in Paris.
