Antique British 925 Sterling Silver Photo Locket Pendant, Birmingham, 1977
A beautiful antique British sterling silver photo locket, featuring an elegant hand-engraved floral and scrolling foliate decoration on the front.
The front cover is richly decorated with traditional hand-engraved scroll and acanthus-style motifs, creating a highly decorative and distinctive appearance. The reverse is comparatively plain and retains the original silver surface together with the relevant hallmarks.
The locket is fitted with a suspension loop and can be worn as a pendant. Its compact oval form makes it suitable for holding a small personal photograph or keepsake.
The piece carries a complete set of British hallmarks, including the lion passant mark for sterling silver, the anchor mark for Birmingham, the date letter C indicating 1977, and the maker's mark FBROS.
